An intimate workshop experience for those looking to elevate their craft, focusing on the luxury photography industry. Through this full day of education, direction, and tutorials, my intention is that each attendee walks away with real and authentic tools to not only better their photography skills, but also improve their business structure so they can elevate their work and overall client experience to the next level.

Beginning at 9:00 am and ending at 6:00 pm, attendees can expect a full day jam-packed with classroom learning as well as hands-on photography education from one of Detroit’s top photographers, Niki Taylor of Niki Marie Photography who has photographed over 300 weddings in her 10 years of business.
The first part of the day will be spent in a classroom setting, where attendees will learn a number of topics.

In the afternoon, attendees will get to shoot and interact alongside Niki while actively photographing a full wedding editorial, designed and produced by Ashley Lynch of Festoons and Flourishes, as well as Flat Lay and Styling tutorials from Meaghan Keck of Birch Affair. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain high-end photographs for their portfolios in one of Detroit’s premier event venues.
And it wouldn’t be a true Shinola Hotel experience without some amazing food throughout the day. Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack will be included for all attendees.
